Q. Will any investment that suppliers have to make in hardware or software in order to use P2P be recoverable from the MOD?
A. No. It is expected that any investment to be made by suppliers will be relatively low, and can be offset against the savings suppliers will make in the longer term by adopting electronic trading with the MOD.
Q. Will electronic purchase orders be sent to individuals within a company?
A. No, all electronic purchase orders will be sent to a single account for the company, so any authenticated user from that company will be able to see all the purchase orders for that company.
Please note that Capgemini will work with you to establish your INITIAL connection to DECS as part of our contractual arrangements with the MOD. If , after you have been made “DECS Ready”, you subsequently decide to change your connectivity method, or make changes to your internal systems that impact the messages passing to/from DECS, assistance or testing to re-affirm connectivity will not be covered by any existing commercial arrangement so may result in additional charges to you
