What could DECS do

Network enablement of capability is premised upon increased electronic interaction and extends to trusted partners beyond established defence boundaries. When protecting the information infrastructure, on which network enablement relies, old challenges are heightened and new ones presented.

Capgemini is working with MOD to address these challenges through an innovative Public Private Partnership called the Defence Electronic Commerce Service (DECS), which protects MOD Information Infrastructure from compromise whilst enabling electronic interaction with trusted partners.
