The Defence Electronic Commerce Service (DECS) provides a secure trading portal between the MOD and Industry and forms the backbone of initiatives to enable collaborative working across defence acquisition and logistics, providing the means to actively monitor and manage effective delivery.  Crucial to this is the successful handling of information in support of decision-making and the enabling of timely and appropriate information flows that support the new business processes. The required benefits are delivered by a series of Value Added Services (VAS).
